The 890 R is considerably more track-oriented than the ordinary 890 Duke. KTM also fitted Michelin Power Cup 2 tyres on the R specification.
The big attraction: 121 PS in a bike around 171 kg dry makes the 890 Duke R extremely light for its performance level. It’s much more of a sharp, aggressive road/track bike than a relaxed naked.
