The 1299 Superleggera was supplied with a substantial Track/Race Kit as part of the bike, rather than it being a separate optional purchase.

The kit included:
Akrapovič full titanium racing exhaust with high-level twin silencers
Racing screen / plexiglass
Mirror removal kit with machined aluminium blanking plugs
Number-plate holder removal kit
Side-stand removal kit

Rear paddock stand
Dedicated Superleggera bike cover
Ducati’s own technical specification lists these items as the Track Kit.
The owner’s manual also confirms that the exhaust, mirror, side-stand and number-plate removal components constituted the racing kit, while the stands and cover were supplied with the bike.
For a collector bike, having the complete unused kit is particularly significant
The Ducati 1299 Panigale Superleggera is one of Ducati’s most exotic V-twins. It was introduced in 2016/2017 and was limited to 500 numbered examples.

Ducati described its 215 hp engine as the most powerful factory twin-cylinder engine it had produced at the time.
What makes it special
The big deal is the carbon-fibre chassis. Ducati used carbon for the frame, swingarm and wheels, making the 1299 Superleggera the first production motorcycle to use a complete carbon-fibre chassis.
It also came with an extremely comprehensive electronics package and a racing kit, including race exhaust and track-oriented components.
And importantly for collectors: all 500 were numbered, and Ducati says the model sold out before production began.
